  • What is TALARC?
    The American Legion Amateur Radio Club (TALARC) is an American Legion Post cooperative striving to bring together Amateur [Ham] Radio Operators - both young and old alike - who are affiliated directly or indirectly with The American Legion, Sons of the American Legion, or American Legion Auxiliary. All US military veterans and veteran organization members are welcome as visitors and guests, but only active members of the American Legion family of associations can become TALARC Members.
  • What are the membership requirements?
    To be a Member of The American Legion Amateur Radio Club, you must have both a valid FCC Amateur Radio Operator license and active membership in either The American Legion, Sons of the American Legion, or The American Legion Auxiliary. Upon confirmation, access will be granted to the "Members Only" areas of the website and mobile app.
  • Is there a cost to become a TALARC Member?
    There is no cost nor fee to become a Member of The American Legion Amateur Radio Club.
  • Who can participate in the weekly TALARC Echolink and OTA Nets?
    All Amateur Radio Operators are welcome to participate in TALARC Echolink and OTA (Over-The-Air) Nets.
